Welcome to my contribution.

It happened on June 29th 1981, somewhere around midday. The sky opened up that day; rain fell in droves. Animals and insects around the country, across the globe, began to whimper out of anxiety. Telephones rang off the hook and lights began to flicker. The entire world had been abuzz over the news of the apocalypse that was soon to arrive, after many years of waiting. The time was here, it was now or never; all or nothing.

Dams, rivers, oceans and reservoirs dried up. World leaders crept around in fear wanting, needing for the moment to arrive, finally. Then the moment had come. RDD opened up and brought into this world the brightest of stars, the hottest of suns. It was the mightiest of mountains and the most mysterious of mysteries.

I had been released, finally after nine long months of captivity.
